Our Team

We're a diverse group of therapists from various backgrounds and disciplines with one central goal - to provide quality mental health care as an ally toward your wellness.

Rebecca Thipsingh, LCSW, TCT

In 2018, she became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida, and after being inspired by a former client, received her board certification from ITCA as a Transgender Care Therapist in 2019. Rebecca is a strong advocate who founded Allies in Wellness, LLC in response to the unmet needs of transgender and gender expansive individuals and their families in the Brevard County area.

Rebecca works with

  • adults,

  • adolescents,

  • preteens, and

  • families who want to

She is a behaviorist at heart who strongly believes that the power to live the life you want comes from within. She will work together along side you to solve current problems, she may help you identify how you interact with your environment and how your environment interacts with you. At times she'll be a validating and supportive ear for you to process difficulties or challenges that may arise during your time working together. Some work may look at your family of origin, life experience, story, unique journey, and how this picture has shaped you.

Rebecca takes a holistic approach to therapy by looking at each aspect of her clients’ lives. She objectively views their world to help them lay the groundwork to heal and navigate it; build support; and gain knowledge, insight, and authenticity. As Rebecca would say, “With insight, a person can own all they do.”

Rebecca is a gender therapist who also specializes in treating anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, and other behavioral concerns.
