Kristine was a child who was a Ward of The State and a teen mom with her first child. She was inspired to become a teacher and later, a social worker. She received a Masters of Social Work from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio Texas, specializing in Services to Hispanic Children and Families. She is an active member of local advocacy groups and provides services to LGBTQ+ clients of all ages.
Kristine is a trained EMDR provider and play therapist. She is currently training to become certified in infant trauma, a specialization for children between the ages of 0-5 years old. Kristine is a member if our in-house trauma team whose focus is to better support children who've experienced trauma and their families, especially those coming from the foster care system and who have been adopted.

Kristine accepts clients using Aetna Better Health, BCBS / Florida Blue, Sunshine, Cigna, Aetna, United Healthcare (Optum, Oscar, UMR, UBH), and self-paying clients on a sliding-scale.
