Miranda is an experienced licensed therapist (LCSW) who graduated with her Master of Social Work from the University of Central Florida. Miranda is passionate about helping individuals improve their well-being and promoting healing.
Miranda utilizes a trauma-informed approach to support adults seeking support for trauma, attachment, anxiety, depression, ADHD, LGBTQIA+, intimate partner violence, sexual abuse, perfectionism, high achievers, and new parents.
Miranda utilized trauma informed and person-centered approaches. Miranda utilizes EMDR, DBT, Parts work/IFS informed techniques, ACT and Mindfulness. Miranda is a neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ affirmative therapist, whose goal is to offer a safe space for clients to explore their strengths and their goals.
Miranda's specialties include working with women's issues, neurodivergent clients, low self-esteem, and burnout. With empathy and compassion, she supports clients through their journey of self-exploration, self-compassion, and coping skill development. Miranda's approach is grounded in a belief that all individuals have strengths and are impacted by the systems and environment they interact with daily.
Miranda is independently contracted with Allies in Wellness and is currently available to see new clients via telehealth. Miranda accepts clients using Aetna Better Health, Sunshine Health, Cigna, Aetna, United/Optum/Oscar and self-paying clients.
